Ingredients:
- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
2. In a mixing basin, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
3. Whisk in the melted butter.
4. Add the baking soda and salt to the batter and whisk thoroughly.
5. Mix in the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract.
6. Stir in the flour until barely mixed.
7. Spoon the mixture into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean.
8. Take the bread from the oven and allow it to rest in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it out onto a wire rack to cool entirely.
9. Slice and serve the banana bread as desired. Enjoy!
